Lager 157 Opens New Store in Nordstan

Lager 157 opens a new store in Nordstan, one of Sweden’s largest city shopping districts and Gothenburg’s most visited retail destination. The store is located right by the main entrance towards Brunnsparken and spans approximately 2,000 m² across two floors, with entrances from both Köpmansgatan and Norra Hamngatan.

The new store features Lager 157’s full assortment for women, men and children, with a special focus on denim and functional wardrobe essentials for modern everyday life.

For over two decades, Lager 157 has challenged the traditional fashion industry with a clear focus on affordable wardrobe essentials and a seamless combination of physical stores and e-commerce. The Nordstan opening represents a key milestone in developing the Lager 157 store concept and customer experience, a centrally located city store designed for maximum accessibility in a vibrant urban setting.

The opening in Nordstan takes place during a period of strong expansion for Lager 157, both in Sweden and internationally. In 2024, the company increased its turnover by 28 percent to SEK 3.5 billion. In 2025, the growth journey continues with more than 20 planned new stores, bringing the total to over 90 stores across Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark and Germany.
